VSIP & DSL
Well.. ok, I am facing some problems merging the IVsHierarchy and the DSL Tools API's... They seem to be two very different worlds, so I will need a few days to get the first Himalia Designer for VS2005 beta beta beta. :)
Now, you can check the first screen shot in the Preview Center.

can you post how you managed to change the icons for you DSL files in the Solution Explorer?
Im stuck on this bit, but I can see you got it to work in your screenshot...

Sorry, I am back now.
If you want yo change the file type, you can set it when you start a new DSL language wizard. Or later, modifing the File.ico project file.
If you want to add some other features (like special folder) you may need to create your own project type and add some code ther.
Some kind of changes can be made using the GAT & GAX. You should try it, becouse its getting better every day :)
Mi approach was the first and the second one.
